Thornbury Farm CSA is celebrating the GRAND OPENING of their new tap room in 18th century style. Dress like you’re living back in 1776 and get a discount on your pints! Your pint choices will be many local beers including the newest revolution in local brewing from Artillery Brewing Company.

There will be American Revolution reenactors, a reading of Declaration of Independence, music from Younger than Charlie, and fresh local food of course. 

Thornbury Farm CSA is on the site of the Battle of the Brandywine, be a part of history having fun learning, and celebrating with friends, family, and community!

Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation will be opening up the doors of history for you, your friends, and family to travel back in time to the birth of our nation. Come out to the farm for four day full of fun, revolutionary children crafts, burning an effigy of King George, and many more acts of rebellion this week, and weekend.

July 4: Roast s’mores over our Liberty Bonfire, and children can design their own flag.

July 5: Children can make corn husk dolls to take home.

July 6: Dip your own candles to take home.

July 7: Make your own piece of paper, and learn about the materials Thomas Jefferson needed to create the Declaration–from paper, to ink, to pen!
